Shahar Livne's practice is rooted in a lifelong inquiry into nature,
biology, and the philosophy of matter. Trained at the Design Academy Eindhoven,
she developed a rigorous approach to material research and experimentation –
one that moves between the intuitive and the conceptual, treating materials not solely as a medium but as carriers of meaning.

Through objects and installations, her work draws on layered research methodologies to surface stories embedded in the physical world.

Many of Livne's projects engage with materials at the edge of cultural imagination – blood, man-made fossils, crystallizations approaching them as archives of time, place, and our evolving relationship with natural resources.

Livne works internationally as an independent designer, curator, and educator.

Collaborations with Balenciaga and nat-2 have brought her research-led material philosophy into dialogue with the luxury sphere, where conceptual design and craftsmanship converge.

She is available for select commissions and collaborations with maisons and
cultural institutions, and accepts invitations for exhibitions, lectures, and academic workshops
